We've prepared a guide with essential tips to protect your phone and money against theft and digital scams.
Safety in public places
Avoid connecting your phone to public Wi-Fi networks
Always stay alert to your surroundings
Choose secure locations to access financial apps
Keep your phone close to your body and out of sight
If something seems strange, remember you can choose not to proceed with the transaction - even if it’s in person.
Device protection
Enable biometrics and facial recognition in your apps
Use Google Authenticator or similar apps for two-factor authentication (safer than SMS)
Avoid saving passwords or sensitive data on your phone
Keep your operating system and apps always updated
Never provide your one-time sign-in code or PIN to anyone
Keep your password safe and limit who can access your account on any of your devices. If something seems strange or if you think your account might be compromised, please let us know right away.
