A Payment Link lets you get paid when you're not face to face. Your customer opens the link and pays with a card or digital wallet. They don't need the Jim app.
The money goes to your Jim balance in seconds.

Create a Payment Link
Open the Jim app.
On Sell, enter the amount ($1 minimum).
Tap Sell now.
Under Payment method, choose Payment Link.
Turn on any options you need (see below).
Tap Charge.
Tap Copy, iMessage, or Share to send the link. To let your customer scan it, tap QR Code.
Sale options
Before you tap Charge, you can turn on:
Profit Booster: right below Payment method, turn on Profit Booster (Pass credit card fees to customers). It works the same way as on Tap to Pay. When your customer pays the fee, the receipt shows Paid by customer next to the fees. See How do I use Profit Booster in Jim?
Add sales tax: adds tax to the sale.
Allow link reuse: the same link works for more than one payment. If you have a Starter limit, Jim shows a Warning first. Tap Continue to turn it on.
Fees
Each Payment Link sale costs 4.99% + $0.30. With Profit Booster on, your customer pays the fee.

How your customer pays
Your customer chooses one of the accepted payment methods when they open the link.
Each payment is a single charge. Installments and buy now, pay later aren't available.
Their bank may ask for an extra verification step, called 3D Secure. See How does 3DS verification work in online payments?
If you have a Starter limit
If a link would take you over your $500 Starter limit, Jim shows a warning with how much you have Left on Starter. Choose one:
Tap Charge [amount left] Now to create a link for only what's left.
Tap Verify Identity to remove the limit permanently and charge the full amount. See How do I create and get approved as a Jim seller?
After you create a link, Jim shows how much you've sold and how much is left until sales pause. Tap Verify Now to verify your identity.
A reusable link stops accepting payments when you reach $500. You won't receive money from it until you verify your identity. See What is my sales limit with Jim?
Troubleshooting
Payment declined
Every sale goes through a security review and can't be appealed. Ask your customer to try another card or a digital wallet. See Protect your online sales from fraud and chargebacks.Customer didn't get the link
Send it again, or copy it and paste it in another app.Wrong amount
Create a new link with the right amount, then cancel the first sale:Tap Balance.
Open the sale.
Tap Cancel sale.
Tap Continue.
You can cancel a sale within 60 days, as long as you have enough balance in your Jim account. To find a sale, see Where can I keep track of my sales?
