What is JIM Bookings?

JIM Bookings is a scheduling and payment tool built directly into JIM Websites. You set up your services, define when you’re available, and share a booking link. Your customers open it, pick a service, choose a time slot, and pay a deposit upfront — no app download required on their end.

When the appointment comes, you collect the remaining balance in person with Tap to Pay, or the full payment was already handled online. Scheduling and payment, one place.


What are the fees?

Most sellers collect a partial deposit online and the rest in person — so the blended cost is lower than the deposit rate alone.


How to set up Bookings?

Make sure you have an active JIM Website, then follow these steps:

  1. Open your JIM app.

  2. Go to your JIM Website settings.

  3. Tap Bookings.

  4. Add a new service with a name, duration, and price.

  5. Set the deposit amount you want to collect at the time of booking.

  6. Choose your payment flow: deposit upfront via Payment Link, or full payment after the service via Tap to Pay.

  7. Define your available days and time windows.

  8. Save your settings.

Your booking page is now live on your JIM Website and ready to share.


How to share your booking link?

Once your services and availability are set, you can share your booking link anywhere your customers are:

  • Instagram bio

  • WhatsApp messages

  • Google Business Profile

  • Text messages or email

  • Your JIM Website (where it’s already live)

One link handles everything — your customer picks a service, picks a time, and either pays the deposit or confirms the booking.


How does the customer book?

Your customer doesn’t need to download anything. Here’s what they see:

  1. They open your booking link in any browser (phone or desktop, iOS or Android).

  2. They pick a service from your list.

  3. They choose an available time slot.

  4. They pay the deposit online (if you’ve set one) or confirm the booking.

  5. They receive automatic reminders before their appointment.

No app, no account, no sign-up on their end.


How to manage your bookings?

All your upcoming appointments are in one place inside the JIM app:

  • Calendar view of confirmed bookings

  • Full details per appointment: customer name, contact info, time, and payment status

  • Cancel bookings directly from the app when needed

When a customer arrives, collect the remaining balance instantly with Tap to Pay — no invoice, no “I’ll transfer you later.”

Do I need anything special to use Bookings?

JIM Bookings requires an active JIM Website. If you don’t have one yet, set it up first in your JIM app — it only takes a few minutes.


What if I don’t want to charge a deposit?

No problem. Turn off the deposit toggle for any service. Your customer books and confirms the appointment without paying upfront. You still get automatic reminders and a full booking calendar. When they arrive, collect everything with Tap to Pay at 1.99% per sale.


Does the customer need to download JIM?

No. The booking link opens in any browser — phone or desktop. Your customer doesn’t need to download an app, create an account, or sign up for anything. They click, they book, they’re done.
