After you send an ACH transfer, a 5-minute reversal window starts. During this time, your transfer shows as Pending in your Statements, and you can cancel it with a single tap.
Once the 5-minute window closes, the transfer is final and cannot be reversed.
How to reverse a pending ACH transfer
1. Open the JIM app.
2. Go to Statements.
3. Find the ACH transfer showing as Pending.
4. Tap the Reverse button.
5. Confirm the reversal.
The reversed amount will be returned to your JIM Card balance.
Important details about timing
The 5-minute window starts the moment you confirm the transfer, not when it completes.
ACH transfers are processed during business hours. If you send a transfer close to the processing cutoff, it may not complete until the next business day. The reversal window still applies from the moment you sent it.
Tips to avoid mistakes
• Always double-check the account number and routing number before confirming a transfer.
• Review the transfer amount carefully on the confirmation screen.
• If something looks off after sending, act fast. You have 5 minutes.
