Spend with the Jim Card (free, instant)

Every approved sale funds your virtual Visa prepaid Jim Card in seconds. No transfer step. No fee to use the card.

  • Add it to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet and tap to pay anywhere those wallets are accepted

  • Use the card details in the app for online purchases anywhere Visa is accepted

  • No physical card

For step-by-step wallet setup and PIN, see How to add your Jim Card to a digital wallet? and Where can I use my Jim Card?.

Good to know: The Jim Card is for merchant purchases (in store and online). It can’t be used for P2P apps like Venmo, Zelle, or Apple Cash.

Can I withdraw cash at an ATM?

No. The Jim Card is a virtual Visa prepaid card, so it can’t withdraw cash at ATMs and there’s no physical card to insert.

If you need cash (or money in a bank account):

  • Cash out by Same Day ACH to your U.S. bank (steps below).

  • Then withdraw from your bank’s ATM or branch as usual.

Your Jim Card funds are held with Lead Bank, Member FDIC, and insured up to $250,000 when deposit insurance requirements are met.

Cash out with Same Day ACH

ACH moves money from your Jim balance to a U.S. bank account in your name. Transfers are processed by Lead Bank, Jim’s banking partner.

Fees and limits

  • Fee: 1.99% of the transfer amount + $0.99

  • Minimum: $15.00 per transfer

  • Maximum per transfer: $3,000.00

  • Daily limit: $5,000.00

The app shows the service fee and the net amount you’ll receive before you confirm.

How to cash out (ACH Bank Transfer)

  1. Open the Jim app.

  2. Tap Cash out (from Home or from Balance).

  3. Choose ACH Bank Transfer.

  4. Enter the amount you want to send ($15 minimum).

  5. Add or select your bank account (routing number and account number).

  6. Review the amount, fee, net amount, and destination.

  7. Confirm with your Jim Card PIN.

  8. Done. You’ll get a receipt. Track the transfer in Statements or ask Jim in the app.

Tip: Double-check routing and account numbers before you confirm. After you send, you have a short window to reverse a pending ACH if something looks wrong. See What happens if I send an ACH payment by mistake?.

Requirements

To sell and spend inside Jim:

  • An approved seller profile

  • The Jim app on a supported phone

  • An active Jim Card (for spending and to confirm ACH with your PIN)

To cash out by ACH:

  • A U.S. bank account in your name (account name should match the business owner)

  • Enough available balance for the amount plus the fee (and at least the $15 minimum)

A bank account is optional for receiving sales and spending on the Jim Card. More detail: Do I need a bank account to use Jim?.

Check your balance

  1. Open the Jim app.

  2. Tap Balance to open Your Balance.

  3. Use the eye icon if you need to show or hide the amount.

  4. Or ask Jim in the app: “What’s my balance?”

Sales from Tap to Pay and Payment Link land in the same balance.

Troubleshooting

  • I don’t see Cash out or ACH.
Make sure your seller profile is approved and your Jim Card is active. Limited-access or review states can block cash out. Chat in the app if the option stays unavailable.

  • ACH is pending longer than expected.
Check whether you sent it after hours, on a weekend, or on a holiday. Those process the next business day. Confirm the status in Statements.

  • I entered the wrong bank details.
If the transfer is still Pending, you may be able to reverse it within about 5 minutes. After that window, the transfer can’t be reversed from the app. See What happens if I send an ACH payment by mistake?.

  • I need cash from an ATM.
The Jim Card can’t withdraw at ATMs. Cash out by ACH to your bank, then withdraw from your bank.

  • Fee looks higher than I expected.
ACH is 1.99% + $0.99 on the transfer amount. Example: $20.00 → about $1.39 fee → about $18.61 net. The review screen shows the exact numbers before you confirm.
