How do I dispute a Jim Card charge?

What to do if you don't recognize a Jim Card charge or have a problem with a purchase.

You can dispute a Jim Card charge in two situations:

  • Possible fraud: you don't recognize the charge.

  • Problem with a purchase: you made the purchase, but something went wrong.

Opening a dispute doesn't guarantee you'll get the money back. Our Chargeback team reviews every request.

Possible fraud: if you don't recognize a charge

  1. Block your card: tap your name at the top left, then tap Preferences > Temporarily block card > Block card. If your Account page shows a Jim Card section, you can block your card from there too.

  2. Contact us through the chat in the Jim app and tell us which charge you don't recognize.

  3. Answer a few questions we'll ask about the charge.

For your security, we'll cancel your card and generate a new one to you. When you get it:

  • Close the Jim app and open it again.

  • Remove the old Jim Card from Apple Pay, Google Pay or Samsung Pay and add the new one.

  • Update your card only on the subscriptions you use.

  • Check which card is saved at checkout in the apps and sites where you shop.

You have up to 90 days after the charge to open a dispute.

Problem with a purchase

You don't need to block your card. Here are some examples:

  • You didn't receive the item or service.

  • The item or service is very different from what you bought, or it's defective.

  • You were charged the wrong amount, charged twice, or already paid another way.

  • You canceled an order or subscription and were still charged.

  • The seller promised a refund and you didn't get it.

What to do:

  1. Contact the seller first. It's usually the fastest way to solve it. Keep a record, like emails or chat messages.

  2. If the seller doesn't solve it, contact us through the chat in the Jim app.

  3. Explain what happened and send your proof:

  • Your receipt or order confirmation

  • Your messages with the seller

  • Any cancellation or return confirmation

  • Photos or videos, if the item is defective or wrong

If you returned an item or canceled an order, wait at least 15 days before you open a dispute.
