Is my device compatible with Jim?

Ensure your phone meets the necessary criteria to use Jim and start selling efficiently with your mobile device as a payment terminal.


Jim requirements

To use Jim for selling and processing payments, your phone should have:

  • NFC technology: Mandatory for conducting contactless transactions.

  • iOS compatibility: Must be an iPhone XS or later model, running the latest iOS 17 or newer. The device must not be jailbroken.

  • Approved account: To sell to other people, and to use your Jim Card, you’ll need an approved seller’s profile.

  • Valid Apple ID: To login into your account, use your Apple ID.

  • Apple Wallet: To use your virtual Jim Card for payments, add it to your Apple Pay wallet.

If your iPhone aligns with these specifications but Jim isn’t working, you might be facing a configuration issue.
